Business Analyst

Job Description

• Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional Agile teams (engineering, design, QA, data science, external vendor)

• Author highly detailed epics (very granular—often user-story level)

o Include business rationale, problem statements, requirements, success metrics, acceptance criteria

• Create and/or review user stories authored by external vendor to ensure alignment and quality

• Define non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, etc.)

• Support UI/UX design by reviewing and guiding Figma prototypes from a user-centric perspective

• Participate in full SDLC lifecycle:

o Sprint planning, backlog grooming, release cycles

o UAT support for large initiatives

o Bug triage and resolution

• Assist with project coordination to ensure timely delivery of features and milestones

• Conduct market/country-level assessments for global rollout readiness

• Support product evolution decisions (feature viability, adoption, cost vs. value)

• Collaborate on data and AI initiatives, including GenAI capabilities

• Work through complex vendor dynamics and push back when needed on technical delivery

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience in software / SaaS environments

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams (understanding sprint cycles, SDLC, release processes)

• Proven experience authoring epics and user stories (must be able to go very granular)

• Experience supporting UAT and QA validation processes

• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence (or similar tools)

• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams

• Healthcare industry experience (required)

• Ability to work EST hours

• Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and vendors

• Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-moving product environments • Experience with SaaS product global expansion (EMEA/APAC)

• Exposure to medical device / digital surgery / robotics ecosystems

• Experience with data analytics platforms or AI/ML-driven products

• Familiarity with EHR integrations

• Experience working with external/offshore development vendors

• Exposure to GenAI use cases or data querying tools

• Experience using Figma / Adobe XD (reviewing, not building)

• Background in patient engagement platforms or healthcare applications
