Company Description Vibrant Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center with four clinic locations serving communities in Wyandotte County. Role Description The Bilingual Behavioral Health Clinician is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, KS. This position provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed behavioral health services to patients in an integrated primary care setting, conducting psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy. The clinician collaborates closely with medical, dental, and outreach teams to develop coordinated treatment plans, support crisis intervention, and facilitate warm handoffs for behavioral health needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, participating in case conferences and team meetings, and contributing to care coordination and referrals to community resources. The role requires fluency in English and another language commonly spoken by Vibrant Health patients, and a commitment to serving diverse populations in a community health environment. Qualifications Clinical practice skills in behavioral health, including psychosocial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and evidence-based therapy. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within interdisciplinary care teams and engaging patients and families. Proficiency in clinical documentation, electronic health records, and maintaining confidentiality consistent with legal and ethical standards. Fluency in English and at least one additional language (such as Spanish or another language relevant to the patient population). Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; appropriate state licensure or license-eligible status (e.g., LMSW, LSCSW, LPC, LMFT). Experience in community health, integrated care, or working with diverse and underserved populations is highly beneficial. Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care.
