Job Details:

• Title:  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Location: Jaffrey, NH
• Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day Shift)
• Pay Range: $19.90 – $27.00/hour (based on experience and education) + Benefits

Position Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports providers in the Family Medicine Clinic by performing clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of nursing and physician staff. This role requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and a patient-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical procedures such as blood draws, injections, immunizations, and basic lab testing within CMA scope
• Assist providers during patient examinations (vitals, rooming patients, and clinical support)
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and adequate supply levels
• Collect, document, and process patient information accurately in medical records
• Handle patient communication including phone calls and provider-directed instructions
• Assist with referrals, lab orders, and medical documentation
• Support patient flow by escorting and preparing patients for exams and procedures
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical safety standards
• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (minimum 2 years formal training)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA required)
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday day shift schedule

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Family Medicine or outpatient clinic setting
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations professionally
