Account Manager - Automation Sales

Churchill Technologies is looking for a motivated Account Manager to grow established customer relationships and develop new business. This is an opportunity to build a career in automation sales with hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to custom manufacturing solutions.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with our Director of Sales and engineering and applications teams to learn our capabilities and help customers solve manufacturing challenges. Your responsibilities will include growing legacy accounts, identifying opportunities within those relationships, and developing new customers through proactive business development.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and nurture established customer accounts through regular communication, visits, and responsive support.
• Identify opportunities to expand our relationships with existing customers.
• Research prospective accounts, build connections, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Visit customer facilities to understand manufacturing challenges and automation needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to develop solutions and proposals.
• Follow up on proposals and help move opportunities through the sales process.
• Maintain accurate customer information, opportunities, and next steps in Salesforce.

• Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial automation.
• Comfort initiating conversations and building new relationships.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a technical team.
• Previous sales or manufacturing experience is helpful. Automation experience is a plus.

Location and Travel

This is a hybrid position based in Grand Haven, Michigan. Candidates located near Grand Haven or Grand Rapids are preferred to support in-person training and collaboration.

Regular customer travel is required, with overnight stays expected on approximately half of trips.
