Job Title: Sr. Graphic Designer Location: 2901 Harbor Bay Parkway, Alameda, CA 94502 Duration: 12 Months 100% Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a talented and versatile Senior Graphic Designer to develop engaging, on-brand visual content across social media platforms. This role will lead day-to-day social content creation while collaborating closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, and creative leadership. The ideal candidate has strong design fundamentals, experience creating social-first digital content, and a passion for emerging trends and platform innovation. Job Responsibilities Design high-quality social media assets including static graphics, carousels, stories, reels, thumbnails, and paid social advertisements. Translate brand guidelines into compelling, platform-specific creative for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other channels. Contribute creative concepts to campaigns, content calendars, and both organic and paid initiatives. Produce short-form video content and motion graphics using platform-native tools and editing software. Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints while introducing innovative and fresh creative ideas. Stay current with design trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to inform content development. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards. Collaborate cross-functionally to align visual assets with messaging and campaign objectives. Education Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of experience in social media design, digital design, or content creation roles. Strong portfolio showcasing social-first design, motion graphics, and short-form video content. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and relevant editing tools. Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual storytelling, and mobile-first design principles. Working knowledge of social media platforms, creative best practices, and performance-driven content. Ability to take creative direction while also independently generating ideas. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing motion graphics or animated social content. Familiarity with paid social creative requirements and performance optimization. Experience collaborating with copywriters, strategists, or community managers. Strong interest in digital trends, pop culture, and evolving social platform behaviors.
