Practice Info Join Centers for Family Medicine in Orange County Physician-led community Focus on patient care, not volume Work with hospitals and clinical staff, social services, utilization management and other members of the interdisciplinary teams Responsibilities Conduct hospital rounds on all patients referred to the service during day shifts Admitting patients and staying at the hospital overnight during night shifts Provide patient care in a manner consistent with hospital medical staff by-laws and referring physician requests Communicate with families, referring physicians, specialists, administration and hospital departments in the care and treatment of patients referred to the service Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to discuss patients progress, variances and achievement of expected outcomes and plan of care Assume responsibility to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and timely including medical records, billing/coding and any other such documentation as requested by hospital from time to time Compensation Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $271,500 - $401,500 Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity xmvmafu stock purchase 401k contribution Shift & Schedule Block Schedule: 7 on / 7 off Schedule: 7 day on/7 day off + 2 nights (total day + night = 206 shifts/year) Physician to stay at hospital over night during night shifts Requirements Unrestricted California State Medical License Current California DEA certificate BE/BC Internal Medicine Welcome 2024 IM Grads EMR proficient Self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence Strong verbal and written communication skills Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience desirable
