Be part of a team dedicated to creating a safe and supportive community!Requirements:5+ years' experience in criminal justice, fire service, or safety and preventionMinimum Associates degree in related fieldMinimum 3+ years management experienceAbility to manage projects and/or staffWell-versed with state criminal and fire codes, and proactive safety and security programsThorough understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations, for the protection of people, data, property, and institutionsWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, and software related to campus safety and security programsPreferred:Bachelor's degreeResponsibilities:Supervise maintenance staff to: repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power toolsreassemble equipmentperform routine preventive maintenanceensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building(s) does not deteriorateDetect criminal activity and reports appropriate matters to local law enforcement agencies for proper resolutionDevelop and implement proper evacuation procedures, to ensure effective egress of students and staff in the event of an emergencyEnsure quarterly safety inspections are completedSee to the inspection of hallways, classrooms, and office areas, to ensure compliance with state and local fire and building codesAssist the Campus President with budgetary matters, campus procurement, and expensesOversee any assembling, installing and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment, in reference to staff or licensed contractors to perform jobs requiring permitsManage the maintenance staff or work performed by licensed contractorsFull TimeMedical, Dental, VisionLife and Disability Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off and HolidaysGrowth OpportunitiesAbout Us:For 80 years Lincoln Tech has been one of the nation's leading providers of career training in Healthcare, Automotive/Diesel, Skilled Trades, Information Technology.Lincoln Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
