MRI Technologist - Full Time

MRI Technologist Position

A leading healthcare client is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their team in a permanent role at a hospital in Craig, CO. The clinician will accurately follow physicians' scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiology (R) with advanced modalities including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
• MRI advanced level certification and any applicable state licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must successfully pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and any required breath alcohol test. Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
• Preferred: Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI experience.
• Preferred: Experience with electronic imaging records, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
• Preferred: Cross-training or experience in additional modalities such as DEXA, Mammography, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR imaging.
• Ability to perform advanced radiographic procedures, practice radiation safety (ALARA), troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain accurate EHR records and charges, and assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and staff training as needed.
