Payroll & HR Assistant
We are seeking a Payroll & HR Assistant to provide temporary support during a leave of absence. This on-site contract role will assist with payroll processing, employee record maintenance, and general HR administration in a fast-paced, growing organization. The ideal candidate will have prior payroll and HR experience and be comfortable handling a variety of administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related administration.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assist employees with payroll and HR-related questions.
- Ensure data accuracy within HRIS and payroll systems.
- Support compliance, reporting, and other HR administrative functions.
- Partner with the HR team on special projects and day-to-day operations as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of payroll experience required.
- Prior HR, HR Assistant, or HR Coordinator experience preferred.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
