Bon Secours - Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center is looking for Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Coverage for future coverage

OPEN DATES:

• July 9 (7am) to July 16 (7am)
• July 29 (7am) to August 5 (7am)
• August 20 (7am) to August 27 (7am)
• September 11 (7am) to September 16 (7am)
• September 28 (7am) to October 2 (7am)
• October 26(7am) to November 4 (7am)
• December 16 (7am) to December 23 (7am)

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-days, will consider emergency privileging

Reason for Coverage: Gaps in call coverage

Practice Setting: Hospital Based Rounding

Schedule (Shifts and Hours): 24 hour call shifts

Call Ratio: needing 10-14 days call coverage per month

Average Number of Cases Per Day: 1

Trauma Level/Designation: 2

Number of Operating Rooms: 20

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Description of Ancillary Staff: Support staff includes 3 PA's

Patient Age Demographic (Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric): Adult

Required Procedures:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required:
• CABG
• Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery and gastroepiploic artery)
• Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery)
• Pericardial Window
• Heart Valve Repair/Replacement surgery
• Mitral Valve Repair

Travel Reimbursement Information :

• Lodging: ~$150/night
• All other bookings approve for standard/economy rates
