Tomahawk Recertification Business Manager

An excellent opportunity exists to manage the Tomahawk Recertification finance team. We are seeking a Business Manager to lead the Recertification contracts of the rapidly growing Tomahawk program. Currently, 2026 sales are projected to be greater than $135M with ~180 FTEs supporting these contracts and excess of $54M of material sales annually. To be effective in this role, you must be able to communicate effectively with program, functional and finance key team members, as well as the government customer. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so you must possess excellent presentation, communication, and professional skills. This is a unique position that allows you to demonstrate financial guidance across a diverse portfolio of contracts and manage a team of three to four analysts. This portfolio includes FFP, CPIF, and FPIF contracts. Responsibilities include guiding a remote team through daily execution challenges, facilitating the EAC process for multiple concurrent contracts, and weekly management of Booking/Sales/Earnings/Cash commitments. This portfolio is experiencing a significant increase in demand from the Customer and proposal experience is preferred. What You Will Do Cultivate the monthly financial planning forecast / close process (Rplan). Manage the analysis and approval of the Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE). Provide financial guidance to Factory Operations Managers, SCM, and PMO leads. Communication of forecast commitments to program team and communication of risk and opportunities to that plan to program leadership. Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance to EAC and BSEC commitments. Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes. Review EAC inputs, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness. Review and analysis of EVM, Funding, and monthly status report Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs). Collaborate with team members on Earned Value Management reporting and analysis. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or related business field with 8 years working finance/accounting experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5 years working finance/accounting experience. Program Controls experience with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement. EVMS certification or experience with EVMS tools. Hands‑On experience with SAP Business Systems / BW Toolset or similar business systems. Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word and PowerPoint. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites. Qualifications We Prefer Excellent guidance, mentoring and training skills. Able to meet critical deadlines. Work experience in a production-oriented business. Excellent mathematics, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Ability to effectively work in a challenging and productive environment while multi-tasking on several different program issues concurrently. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization both verbally and in written form. Program FP&A forecasting (Sales, Bookings, Profit, Cash). Experience with current DoD regulations associated with FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS. Self‑initiative. Provide continuous improvement and process relating to speed, accuracy, and overall delivery. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
