Sr. Full-stack Developer

Seeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.

Job Description:

Assisting with cloud migration of existing code;
Providing design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy;
Developing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features;
Using a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers;
Providing expertise regarding the integration of applications across the Department;
Determining specifications, then plans, designs, and develop the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes- either individually or in concert with a project team;
Assisting in the most difficult support problems;
Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse;
Having in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs;
Understanding and consistently applying the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies;
Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the Department;
Conducting code reviews as requested;
Viewing both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines; and
Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field/equivalent work experience;
A minimum of five (5) years of design and/or development experience with ColdFusion;
Experience with JavaScript Oracle, and Structured Query Language (SQL) Server in an N-tier architecture;
Experience with Solaris, Bash Shell scripting;
A minimum of three (3) years of cloud development experience;
Demonstrated experience in object-oriented development techniques;
Database design and development (Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server);
SQL tuning;
Experience as a project leader on multiple IT projects;
Experience as an expert/lead technical role. Experience working various projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments;
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies;
Support production deployments; assist with troubleshooting deployment issues; and
Experience in Incident Full Kit (IFK) meetings to create user stories, complete Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates for incidents and refinements of product backlog; and
Experience with Azure DevOps
