Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of routine and advanced clinical tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-in accordance with established procedures.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform both preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure samples are prepared correctly for testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous documentation of all processes, train new staff or students, and uphold the laboratory's high quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with the intention to attain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain professional certification for the duration of employment.
