Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various fields including chemistry, hematology, and immunology while adhering to prescribed protocols.
• Evaluate test results with utmost attention to detail, address errors, and conduct regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection as needed and meticulously prepare samples for thorough testing.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, provide training for new staff or interns, and strive to maintain the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure that the work environment remains clean and safe, while strictly following regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
