Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider each patient’s unique cultural background and history to devise personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to individual needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies to promote patient healing.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to explore their mental health challenges in a supportive and constructive setting.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to provide comprehensive and integrated care to our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, responding promptly to mental health emergencies and offering support to clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available therapies, and community resources, fostering awareness and empowerment.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in delivering therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with a diverse clientele and working collaboratively within a team.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and adapting to various computer applications for efficient workflow.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
