Job Description Manage project accounting for commercial construction projects Track job costs, budgets, commitments, change orders, and project financial performance Prepare and process AIA billing, pay applications, invoices, and owner billing documents Review subcontractor invoices, vendor invoices, lien waivers, and supporting documentation Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting functions Work closely with project managers, estimators, and leadership to maintain accurate project financials Assist with WIP reporting, cost reporting, monthly close, and financial reporting Maintain organized accounting records, project files, contracts, change orders, and billing documents Help ensure accounting processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with construction project requirements Qualifications Experience in construction accounting, project accounting, or accounting within a commercial construction environment Strong understanding of job costing, AIA billing, pay applications, lien waivers, and subcontractor billing Experience supporting general contractors, construction managers, or specialty contractors preferred Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Experience with Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, QuickBooks, Procore, or similar construction software is a plus Ability to work closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal leadership Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and accounting priorities Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related experience preferred Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
