Supply Chain Project Manager

Job Summary This role involves leading procurement execution and managing supplier projects for aerospace programs to ensure compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective deliverables that meet technical, regulatory, and schedule requirements. Key Responsibilities Program Procurement Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with program goals, cost targets, supplier capabilities, and certification needs. Supplier Management & Contracts: Lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, oversee supplier performance, monitor market trends, and ensure supply continuity. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program teams to address procurement and supplier challenges. Risk & Compliance: Identify supply chain risks, ensure adherence to aerospace regulations and policies, and report on procurement metrics and risks to leadership. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a technical field, or equivalent experience. At least eight years of aerospace procurement or supply chain experience, managing complex programs with proven results. Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, supplier ecosystems, negotiation, contract management, project management, and procurement tools. Preferred: Certifications such as PMP or CPIM, international procurement experience, familiarity with aerospace regulations, ERP/SAP, and analytical skills. Decision-Making Recommend supplier selection, sourcing strategies, and contract terms considering technical, cost, and risk factors. Prioritize and elevate supplier issues impacting schedules or milestones. Influence recovery plans, cost controls, and procurement tradeoffs with cross-functional teams. Working Conditions Primarily office-based with frequent interactions across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and program environments. May include supplier site visits, international travel (approx. 25%), schedule flexibility, and occasional overtime to support program needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
