Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Empowerment Pathways, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans that address clients’ mental health needs.

• Facilitating crisis intervention and creating pre-crisis and crisis action plans tailored to each client's situation.
\n
• Completing all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Employing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as determined by the clinical team to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Actively participating in the organization’s licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliance and improve service quality.
\n
• Serving as an effective liaison with state agencies, service systems, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care for our clients.
\n
• Fostering open and efficient communication to meet contractual standards and uphold the mission of Empowerment Pathways.
\n
• Cultivating relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance our programs and identify new partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Engaging in continuous professional development by attending relevant conferences, workshops, and task forces.
\n
• Upholding and promoting the agency’s core mission, values, and principles in all aspects of service delivery.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the efficient operation of services.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field.

• Current independent LMHC license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure in the state.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Master’s degree and licensure are the minimal requirements, candidates with prior experience in outpatient counseling settings, crisis intervention, and behavioral support are highly preferred. Experience with electronic health record systems and evidence-based practices will be advantageous in ensuring effective documentation and client care.
