Job Summary

We are seeking an Assembler to build and assemble products in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, power tools, and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will ensure quality workmanship while meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products according to work instructions, drawings, and basic blueprints.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches safely and effectively.
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report missing parts, defects, or production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently.
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $20 per hour
• Shift: Monday through Thursday
• Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Laurel, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
