Job Summary:
Vascular Access Team Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical IV Therapy Specialty in Burlington, Vermont. This role involves providing advanced vascular access procedures, including ultrasound-guided PICC line placement, PIV troubleshooting, port access, and infusion therapies. The position requires a flexible rotating 12-hour day/night schedule and is ideal for experienced RNs with a strong background in trauma and infusion services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, Monday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, Vermont nursing license, minimum of 2 years clinical experience in vascular access or infusion therapy, prior trauma level 1 experience within the last year, Epic electronic medical record experience from within the past 2 years, BLS certification, and travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification as an AVA Certified (Vascular Access Certified Nurse) and experience with ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access, midline catheters, tunneled and non-tunneled catheters, and implanted devices.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended.
  • No block schedules; bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
  • Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for submission.
  • Position may require float to other units including PIV placement, troubleshooting, and blood draws.
