Job Description Job Description Why This Role Exists | The Strategic Program Analyst serves as CXI's research and strategic positioning function. This role discovers, evaluates, and communicates emerging technologies, geopolitical developments, scientific breakthroughs, and global opportunities that help shape the company's long-term direction. Mission | Transform complex information into clear, actionable summaries that enable executive leadership to make informed strategic decisions. Success is measured by the quality of insight provided—not the quantity of information collected. Strategic Positioning Monitor global geopolitical, economic, regulatory, and technology developments. Identify strategic risks, opportunities, and long-term trends. Produce executive-ready briefs and white papers. Technology Discovery Research emerging technologies across communications, AI, advanced materials, energy, semiconductors, space systems, and related fields. Track technology readiness, commercialization, and competitive landscapes. Global Expansion & Partnerships Evaluate countries, regions, universities, laboratories, companies, and government organizations for collaboration and expansion opportunities. Research innovation ecosystems, talent availability, incentives, regulation, manufacturing capability, and geopolitical stability. Program & Executive Support Support strategic initiatives from concept through execution. Prepare executive presentations, briefing books, reports, and recommendations. Maintain organized research repositories and knowledge management systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with leadership and technical teams to support business development and strategic initiatives. Coordinate research across internal and external stakeholders. How Success is Measured Research consistently inform executive decision-making. Written products are concise, accurate, and executive-ready. Emerging opportunities and risks are identified before they become obvious. Complex topics are translated into practical recommendations. The Mindset We're Looking For Naturally curious and self-directed. Exceptional research, analytical reasoning, and critical thinking. Outstanding written and verbal communication. Able to connect ideas across disciplines and industries. Exercises sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion. Preferred Background International Affairs, Political Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Intelligence Studies, National Security, or related discipline. Experience researching emerging technologies, international markets, or competitive intelligence. Executive briefing, technical writing, or white paper experience. Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
