Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour If It Doesn't Balance, It'll Bother You (Perfect.) Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred 13 years of accounting, bookkeeping, customer service, or administrative experience Credit and collections experience preferred Experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties: Process customer invoices and accurately apply incoming payments Maintain customer account records and payment histories Monitor accounts for past-due balances and assist with collections activities Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment status Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances Reconcile customer accounts and research payment discrepancies Process customer payments received via ACH, check, and other payment methods Prepare and distribute customer statements Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable Maintain organized customer files and financial records Support audits, reporting requests, and other accounting functions as needed Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned
