Senior Program Manager

Baxter seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex infusion pump programs across their full lifecycle in a regulated medical device environment. The role requires directing cross-functional global teams, managing scope and budgets, and ensuring delivery of product development, software releases, and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead infusion pump programs through full lifecycle including development, software releases, and obsolescence initiatives
• Own program scope, timelines, budgets, resources, quality, and risk management across initiation through closeout
• Direct cross-functional teams and drive alignment across engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial functions
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and cybersecurity risks
• Communicate program status, milestones, and recovery plans to senior leadership and secure resources without direct authority

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or related field with 10+ years relevant experience
• 6+ years progressive project or program management in regulated industries
• Experience with electromechanical medical devices, infusion systems, or safety-critical technologies
• Knowledge of medical device development processes, systems engineering, design controls, and change management
• Expertise in program planning, critical path management, risk mitigation, and financial management
• Working knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62304 standards
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred

Compensation: $152,000-$209,000 base annually
