This full-time, contract role offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse student population and provide essential support that fosters academic and social success. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective interventions, conducting evaluations and advocating for students’ needs. This position is available for an immediate start, allowing you to step in and make a difference right away.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Illinois.
- Proven experience with psycho-educational assessments and report writing.
- Familiarity with special education services, IEP processes, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
- Offer guidance and training to school staff regarding mental health and behavioral strategies.
