Bring your expertise to a school-based setting as a School Psychologist near Plainfield, IL. This full-time onsite contract opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic needs. The caseload will be determined to align with your strengths and the school's priorities, allowing for meaningful impact and collaboration within the educational team.
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Psychologist license (IL Psych License) required
- Possession of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultative services in school environments preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students' learning and behavioral needs
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Support families and educators through consultation and recommendations
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
