Location: Minneapolis, MN
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for mid- to large-scale commercial projects. The Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and coordination with project management and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and manage onsite workforce, subcontractors, and vendors to keep work safe, efficient, and on schedule.
• Enforce safety programs; conduct site inspections and safety meetings to ensure OSHA and company compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and trade superintendents to maintain schedule, resolve conflicts, and sequence work.
• Monitor workmanship quality through regular walkthroughs; collaborate with QA/QC and design teams on deficiencies and RFIs.
• Manage onsite logistics - deliveries, equipment, laydown areas, and temporary facilities - to optimize productivity.
• Track schedule and milestones, report field progress, and escalate risks with recovery plans as needed.
• Support budgeting and cost control by monitoring labor productivity, subcontractor performance, and change order opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Commercial Superintendent or similar field leadership role on commercial projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of commercial construction means/methods, safety practices, and quality control.
• Ground-up project experience; K-12, Healthcare, Data Center, Public Works, or Design-Build background preferred.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore) for reporting, submittals, RFIs, and scheduling.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and contracts; coordinate trade interfaces and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to build relationships with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
