This role is ideal for individuals early in their careers who are passionate about inclusive fitness, rehabilitation-adjacent wellness, and working directly with adaptive populations.The trainer will assist clients with strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, balance activities, mobility work, and functional movement while prioritizing safety, encouragement, and proper technique.**Reporting Structure:**• Reports directly to the Fitness Director• Collaborates with fitness, operations, partnerships, and community engagement teams**Key Responsibilities:**• Assist clients with adaptive exercise programs tailored to their abilities and goals.• Support clients with proper form, equipment setup, transfers, and mobility as appropriate.• Monitor clients for safety, fatigue, and proper technique during sessions.• Provide encouragement, motivation, and positive reinforcement in a client-centered manner.• Adapt exercises as needed to accommodate varying functional levels.• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment.• Work closely with senior trainers, therapists, and foundation staff.• Communicate client observations, progress, or concerns to supervisors.• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, foundation events and ongoing education.**Qualifications:**• High school diploma required.• Interest or experience working with individuals with disabilities, older adults, or special populations.• CPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain).• Ability to follow instruction, take feedback, and work as part of a team.• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and professionalism.• Physical ability to assist with transfers and adaptive equipment as needed.## Benefits• Health, dental, and vision benefits• Paid Time Off (PTO)• Opportunities for professional development and continuing education• Entrepreneurial leadership environment with growth potential
