Event Coordinator

Job Description

Description:

Plans and executes marketing events, such as trade shows and customer related events.
Coordinates logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations.
Procures and coordinates vendor services.
Coordinates facility, exhibit set-up, equipment and catering requirements.
Provides on-site event support.
May research potential event locations and evaluate alternatives.
Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of technical information/project activities.
Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of relevant factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Developing professional expertise.
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve variety of issues.
