Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will work onsite in our well-equipped facility, where a patient-centered approach is paramount. You will enjoy regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess mobility and functional limitations, and develop tailored rehabilitation plans that address the unique recovery needs of each patient.
• Implement effective treatment strategies, including manual therapy and exercise-based interventions, to help patients restore movement and improve overall physical function.
• Educate patients regarding injury prevention techniques and strategies for mobility enhancement, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
• Document patient progress thoroughly in accordance with healthcare regulations, ensuring accurate tracking of treatment outcomes and adjustments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to optimize care coordination and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sustain Recovery, our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our therapists work closely with these clients, focusing on their specific rehabilitation goals to help them regain functional independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in New York State is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree, such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant experience in an outpatient therapy setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with outpatient care workflows, including electronic medical record (EMR) systems, is advantageous.
• Previous work with diverse patient populations and rehabilitation programs would be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
