Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to gather essential information regarding medical history, physical abilities, and individual rehabilitation needs.
• Establish tailored rehabilitation plans that address specific goals related to orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries.
• Implement a combination of manual therapy techniques, corrective exercises, and functional movement training to optimize patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications that support sustained recovery and enhanced physical performance.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our therapists work closely with athletes, weekend warriors, and individuals seeking relief from musculoskeletal issues. Understanding each patient's unique circumstances is critical, and our approach emphasizes empathy, support, and motivation throughout the rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation or sports therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
