Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine physical capabilities and needs.

• Create individualized treatment plans based on each patient's assessment and medical history, focusing on evidence-based interventions.

• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to patient requirements.

• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families regarding post-treatment care, injury prevention, and wellness strategies, ensuring they understand the importance of their active participation in their recovery.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare providers to develop a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards, ensuring secure and organized records management.

• Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy techniques and methodologies to continuously enhance patient care and professional competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain conditions, and athletes seeking rehabilitation. Qualifications

• Must hold a current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotation experience are encouraged to apply.

• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques, particularly manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and post-operative recovery protocols.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.

• Interest or background in sports medicine and knowledge of sports-related injuries.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and continuing education allowances.
