Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 7 patients per day, ensuring each receives personalized attention and care.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessing physical abilities and limitations to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based rehabilitation techniques tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Provide patient education regarding their conditions, explaining treatment processes and long-term recovery strategies to empower them to take an active role in their healing journeys.
• Document patient progress meticulously through our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating continuous care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest rehabilitation advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our physical therapy services is on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. We treat a diverse patient population, including athletes, elderly clients with mobility issues, and individuals seeking rehabilitation post-injury. Our approach emphasizes individualized care, ensuring each patient feels supported and understood throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized treatment modalities and techniques, including dry needling, Kinesio taping, or advanced manual therapy methods.
• Familiarity with digital health records and patient management software to enhance clinical workflows.
• Demonstrated success in implementing patient-centered treatment plans that focus on achieving functional goals.

Compensation and Benefits
