Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is primarily onsite in our outpatient clinic located in Montgomery, NY. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions and functional capabilities.
• Design, implement, and modify evidence-based rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Utilize specialized techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional movement training to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on evolving needs.
• Educate patients about their conditions and teach effective self-management strategies to enhance healing and reduce the risk of re-injury.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and caregivers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from various musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and surgeries. Your efforts will focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall function to help patients return to their daily activities and sports.

Qualifications

• Valid and active New York Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's or Doctorate is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a focus on outpatient orthopedic care.
• Experience working with sports medicine patients is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation protocols is preferable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company contributions.
