Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility offers a vibrant, onsite workspace that promotes teamwork and clinical collaboration among healthcare professionals. The full-time Physical Therapist will work from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Each week, you will interact closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Good Reps Rehab Center, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including assessments of strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to facilitate optimal recovery, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and recovery strategies to enhance adherence and understanding.
• Document all therapy sessions comprehensively in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate the best care strategies for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves adults and older adults dealing with orthopedic issues, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, balance and mobility challenges, and chronic pain. Each day, you will manage a caseload of approximately seven patients, providing you with the opportunity to develop significant rapport and personalized care for each individual. This focus on tailored treatment not only maximizes recovery potential but also enhances patient satisfaction and engagement.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of professional experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine.
