Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient's physical condition, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and preventing further injury or decline.
• Implement hands-on treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and balance training, to aid patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about safe movement strategies, exercises to do at home, and overall health and wellness practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Maintain meticulous records of treatment plans, patient progress notes, and outcomes to align with facility protocols and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic serves a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and current New York State Physical Therapy license are mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Physical Therapy Practice Act in New York and adherence to the American Physical Therapy Association's Code of Ethics.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in outpatient or acute care settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
