Work Environment

Located in the heart of Middletown, our rehabilitation facility offers an onsite work environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork among healthcare providers. Our facility is equipped with modern therapy equipment, treatment rooms, and spaces designed to enhance both patient comfort and staff efficiency. As a Physical Therapist here, you'll work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to up to 7 patients daily, ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that focus on enhancing mobility and strength.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques and evidence-based practice, incorporating therapeutic modalities and structured exercise programs to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff, to create and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, home exercise programs, and strategies for ongoing health management.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population that may include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. You'll apply your expertise to support patients of all ages, including the geriatric community seeking to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• We prefer candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
