Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities, functional limitations, and needs to establish individualized therapy goals tailored to each patient's condition.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans focusing on restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing future physical decline.

• Administer hands-on physical therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, balance training, and functional mobility interventions to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

• Educate patients and their caregivers on effective mobility techniques, tailored home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.

• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive, patient-centered care that addresses all aspects of recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and outcomes according to facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, physical traumas, strokes, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a vital role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (B.S., M.S., D.P.T., or equivalent certification) recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.

• A current, active Physical Therapy license in the state of New York, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in settings such as skilled nursing facilities, acute care, or outpatient rehabilitation.

• Hands-on experience in developing customized therapy plans and employing varied therapeutic modalities to meet individual patient needs.

• Knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Act in New York and the ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
