The Behavior Technician plays a crucial role in supporting individuals through behavior intervention and data collection. Working under the supervision of a senior behavior analyst, this position involves regular travel to client homes and offers opportunities for professional development. The technician works with clients of all age groups to provide behavioral support and implement intervention plans effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver behavior intervention according to established plans
• Collect and record accurate data during sessions
• Prepare and organize materials for behavioral sessions
• Collaborate with senior behavior analysts and team members
• Document session progress and behavioral observations
• Manage crisis situations when they arise
• Provide ongoing behavioral support to clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in behavior analysis
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Skills in data collection and analysis
• Knowledge of behavior intervention plans
• Strong communication skills
• Empathy and patience with clients
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
• Good observation skills
