Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center is seeking an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Human Resources Director to join our leadership team. Position Overview The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resources operations for the facility, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, training, employee engagement, and retention. Working closely with facility leadership, the HR Director serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping maintain a positive, professional, and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts for nursing and non-nursing positions Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies Coordinate new-hire orientation and support a positive onboarding experience Manage employee relations matters, including coaching, investigations, corrective action, and workplace concerns Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws , regulations, policies, and HR best practices Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, workers' compensation, and leave management Maintain accurate employee files, documentation, and HRIS records Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, and professional development initiatives Assist leadership with workforce planning and succession planning Coordinate employee training and ongoing education requirements Help plan employee appreciation activities and facility events that strengthen workplace culture Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, communication, and respect throughout the facility Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care HR experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention strategies Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday pay Supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee experience, workplace culture, and resident care #J-18808-Ljbffr
