Junior Staff AccountantLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing professional services organization in New York City to hire a Junior Staff Accountant. This is an open-ended contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position. We are seeking a candidate with experience in cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. Please apply now if you are interested in this opportunity!Responsibilities:Manage daily cash activity, banking transactions, and wire transfersProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliationsPrepare journal entries, maintain general ledger activity, and assist with month-end closePerform bank reconciliations and support financial reporting and analysisReview expense reports, assist with audits, and resolve accounting-related inquiriesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accountingAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookupsHands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Dynamics 365, or similar platformsStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesSchedule:4 days per week in office, 1 day remoteTypical schedule is 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed$27-35/hrSearch managed by: Shoshana RonenBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
