Operations Manager

Patriot Truss & Components is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operations of our truss manufacturing company. The C.O.O will oversee manufacturing, production, engineering, purchasing, logistics, quality, and safety while driving operational efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day manufacturing and plant operations Develop and execute operational strategies to support company growth Improve production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery Oversee plant leadership, purchasing, logistics, and maintenance Monitor budgets, KPIs, and operational performance Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Build and develop high-performing leadership teams Requirements Experience in truss, lumber, building materials, or construction manufacturing required The minimum work week to consist of Monday-Friday Normal hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Additional hours may be required at times to meet deadlines Strong leadership, financial, and operational management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Be tentative via phone on vacation in case of an emergency Attending weekly meetings as needed. If a meeting cannot be made a 24-hour notice will be needed Annual Performance Bonus Paid Holidays This is an on-site leadership position based at our Hobart, Indiana manufacturing facility.
