Service Desk Engineer

Position Summary Anchor Network Solutions is seeking a Service Desk Engineer that will provide remote and onsite support services for our clients. We are seeking individuals who love interacting with clients, team members, and working in many different technology environments. Responsibilities Respond to user requests for technical assistance via phone and email. Diagnose and resolve workstation hardware and software issues. Follow standard service desk procedures. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. Log and track all service desk interactions into ticketing system. Complete projects related to workstation configuration as assigned. Create documentation for end-users and internal standards. Visit client sites on a periodic basis to resolve hardware issues. Qualifications Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. Background in working with workstations in a networked environment. Experience in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. Experience with remote access tools. Understanding of common software platforms such as Microsoft Office. Experience with antivirus and antispyware tools. Working knowledge of basic networking principles including routers, firewalls, and switches. Experience with Meraki preferred. Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022. Knowledge of virtual desktop and cloud environments. Bachelor’s degree preferred, associate or technical degree considered. Willing to obtain or already hold certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Windows 10, Azure Fundamentals. Core Values & Traits You own everything you touch and take ownership of tasks. Additional Details Employees must have personal reliable transportation; client needs often dictate onsite visits. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Must have a smartphone. Anchor has two physical office locations: Englewood, CO and Colby, KS. This position is in the Englewood location.
