1st shift 6:00 am-2:30 pm
Pay: $55,000–$60,000 per year

Salary Exempt II-Paid at straight time for all hours worked over 40 per week

Position Overview

First Call Direct Hire is recruiting for a Production Control Supervisor for a manufacturing company located in Greenfield, Indiana.

This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily production control activities, including material handling, inventory management, scheduling, and ensuring the timely flow of materials and parts throughout the operation.

The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be comfortable working closely with team members to meet production, quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily production control activities.

• Supervise and provide direction to assigned team members.

• Monitor daily workflow and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Coordinate material handling, storage, inventory, and the movement of parts throughout the facility.

• Help ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.

• Communicate production priorities, scheduling changes, and material needs to appropriate team members and departments.

• Ensure employees follow established company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following and enforcing safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and other departments to resolve issues and maintain workflow.

• Assist with additional production control and operational responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.

• Previous experience in production control, manufacturing, material handling, inventory, warehouse operations, or a related environment preferred.

• Previous team lead, supervisor, or other leadership experience preferred.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid driver's license required.

Compensation

$55,000–$60,000 annually
