Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients efficiently and professionally.
• Assist providers with clinical tasks such as taking vitals, drawing blood, and administering vaccines.
• Support front-office duties including scheduling patient appointments and answering phones.
• Manage electronic medical records accurately and effectively.
• Handle patient co-pays and onsite medication dispensing as needed.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with the clinical staff and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support health education and outreach initiatives to engage and inform patients.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of one year of medical assistant experience, including externship
• Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients and team members

Additional Skills & Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
• Occupational health experience strongly preferred
• Experience with vaccines, blood draws, and working with children aged 2 and above
• Open to candidates comfortable working in a fast-paced, outpatient environment
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts, including some overlapping hours
• High school diploma or equivalent required
