Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2304 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - MedSurg Job Details: • 13-week contract assignment • 12-hour variable day and night shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Guaranteed 36 hours per week • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required • Contract eligible for up to 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which may be taken in increments as needed • Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights • Care for adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal • Medical and Pediatrics unit - travelers do not take Pediatric patients • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred • EPIC charting experience required • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC) • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred • Scrub color: any color Facility: This facility is a well-established hospital serving as a primary inpatient care destination for the region.
