Purpose

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for performing accounts payable functions for the organization and occasionally assisting with accounting duties, as needed.

Pay Range: $20/hour - $24/hour

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Manage accounts payable process for internal stakeholders and with external vendors 
• Process all expenses and other miscellaneous payments to employees 
• Collect, organize and process invoices in accordance with our financial policies 
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
• Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)

 

Education/Job Requirements 

• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Excellent analytical skills 
• Working knowledge of Quickbooks
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized and used to working in a fast-paced environment 
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
