Based in Nashville, TN, we specialize in fireproofing, spray insulation, caulking, waterproofing systems, traffic coatings, damproofing, expansion joint covers, air barriers, resinous flooring, and firestopping.

Due to growth, we're looking for a Human Resources & Payroll Manager to join our team! This position offers a hybrid schedule.

What You Will Be Doing

• Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance, and 401(k) offerings.
• Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook content, procedures, forms, and workflows.
• Coordinate performance review cycles across locations and ensure timely completion by managers.
• Address employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues with professionalism, fairness, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires and support a consistent introduction to policies and expectations.
• Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate payroll processing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll administration across operations.

What You Need for this Position

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, payroll, and people operations
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, labor law compliance, performance management, and payroll processes
• Experience supporting multi-location and/or multi-state operations
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and professional business documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Nice to have skills:

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or comparable HR certification
• Experience in construction, skilled trades, field operations, or another fast-moving operational environment
