EMIT BA/QA Analyst

Location: Hybrid - Cincinnati, OH

Employment Type: Contract

About the Role

Smart Data Systems is seeking an experienced EMIT BA/QA Analyst to support a client's enterprise migration of sites from LDAP to Active Directory. In this role, you will define security role requirements, execute and automate testing, validate deployments, and provide post-production support. You'll follow established SDLC processes for Business Analysis and Quality Assurance to ensure successful project delivery.

Project Scope

Call Center, Retail, and Security applications migrating from LDAP to Active Directory.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position spanning both business analysis and quality assurance
• Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation and gathering processes
• Demonstrated experience in software testing life cycle activities, test architecture fundamentals, and test design principles for black-box and grey-box testing
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing for UI, back-end/batch, and data conversion/ETL
• Database experience, including the ability to create, execute, and interpret SQL queries to support data development and research
• Experience working across multiple test environments and managing test data between them
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects at once
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, plus strong presentation and documentation skills
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate in a diverse, dynamic environment
• Experience with project tracking systems such as Jira, as well as Microsoft Office applications

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing Active Directory (AD) or AD B2C projects
• Experience writing requirements and testing projects with defined security roles
• Experience with test automation and performance testing tools
• Knowledge of AI tools for requirements and test case creation
• Broad knowledge or experience in managed vision care or healthcare industries
• Facets application experience
• Security testing experience
