Job Description Purpose of the role To provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions. Accountabilities Development and implementation of business unit financial strategies, plans and budgets, using insights to evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and recommend appropriate actions. Development of financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate financial risks for business units, and to analyse the impact of business decisions on financial performance and provision of recommendations. . Cross functional collaboration to provide financial insights and guidance to business unit stakeholders. Identification of opportunities and implementation of financial process improvements that streamline financial operations. Support to business units in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, including provision of training and guidance to business units on financial risk management and compliance practices. Analysis and presentation of financial data to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.. In this role you will be responsible for leading financial planning processes (including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategy), while ensuring the integrity of financial information and regulatory reporting. You will deliver actionable analysis and metrics to senior management, support major planning exercises such as stress testing, and partner with business heads on strategic initiatives and new product approvals. Additionally, you will oversee risk and control frameworks, resolve complex issues, and champion process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. To be successful as a CFO Business Partnering & Controls VP, you should have: Ability to interpret complex financial data, simplify concepts, and deliver actionable insights using advanced tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Strong capability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, tailor communication for diverse audiences, and influence decision-making in a dynamic environment. Adaptability in Complex Business Environments – Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary setting, managing change while ensuring accuracy and control. Some other highly valued skills may include: Familiarity with Liquid Financing, specifically Prime Brokerage, Equity and Fixed Income Financing , Clearing and Electronic high/low touch execution businesses including trade flows and controls knowledge Change Management/Project related work, with a focus on entity simplification Proficiency in creating impactful dashboards and presentations You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. This role is located in New York, NY. Minimum Salary: $150,000 Maximum Salary: $210,000 The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
