As a Security Officer Patrol Integrity in San Carlos, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer serving a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a government transportation location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit platforms, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor public areas and restricted locations, assist with directing visitors and staff, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Support incident response by communicating with local personnel, public agency representatives, and/or first responders when needed, while maintaining awareness of activity throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
